The main objective of the project is to protect the Parque Nacional Madidi in Bolivia and to support the indigenous community of San José de Uchupiamonas. The project initiators are taking on the challenge of implementing environmentally friendly and sustainable practices in the eco-lodge and minimizing the project's ecological footprint.
Responsible on site
Andres Apana Hinojosa, born and based in San José de Uchupiamonas, has many years of professional experience as a licensed tourism guide in the Parque Nacional Madidi.
He is particularly responsible for the local implementation of the project and the needs of the local indigenous community to ensure that their needs and concerns are adequately addressed. He is the direct contact person on site and looks after the well-being of the tourists.
Project supporter
The foundation of this project is the partnership with Richard Borrmann from Germany with the support of his family. His vision stems from a deep commitment to nature, the local communities and the protection of the unique biodiversity of this fascinating ecosystem.
In addition to the objective of responsible tourism and
