Guided Walks
Our numerous exploration trails offer you a varied and safe way to explore Madidi National Park with certified local guides. They will accompany you and share their knowledge with you – optionally in English or Spanish.

Birdwatching
The protected area is home to around 1,200 species of birds, including colorful macaws, parrots, toucans, and many other fascinating species. Discover the impressive diversity of birdlife amidst untouched nature!

Lepidopterology
The national park is home to over 1,500 species of butterflies. Marvel at the vibrant colors and elegant flight patterns of these enchanting and rare insects as they flutter through the tropical rainforest.

Wildlife
Near the ecolodge, there are various salt licks. There, you have the extraordinary opportunity to observe an impressive diversity of species with over 270 mammal species, including jaguars, pumas, and spectacled bears.

Excursion
Our local guides are true experts in identifying wildlife, insects, fish, fungi, trees, and plants, and accompany you on fascinating discovery tours to rivers and waterfalls.

Boat tour
Boat tour along the Río Beni and its tributaries like the Río Tuichi with winding waterways. Spend the night in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by the sounds of nature and under a starry sky.

Night Hikes
At night, equipped with a flashlight, accompanied by the chirping of countless insects, you discover glowing pairs of eyes, nocturnal animals, and experience the magical atmosphere for the senses.

Spiritual
Ayahuasca is known for healing a variety of psychosomatic ailments and has been part of the spiritual culture of the indigenous peoples of the Amazon basin for hundreds of years.

Our indigenous-led coffee manufactory processes handpicked coffee beans from local organic cultivation. Through careful in-house roasting, an aromatic coffee with an authentic taste is created, which you can enjoy fresh on-site. By doing so, you support local farmers and sustainable supply chains in Madidi National Park.

ABOUT US
The Ecologde was built and is managed 100% by the indigenous community in the heart of Bolivia’s Parque Nacional Madidi.
It is an ideal place for wildlife viewing and serves as a starting point for a variety of hikes of different lengths. The ecolodge offers comfortable accommodation with swimming facilities along with delicious meals based on traditional rainforest ingredients. The staff are all local, bilingual (Spanish and English) guides with passion and expertise about the surrounding tropical rainforest.
