Embark on an extraordinary journey through the untouched rainforest of Madidi National Park and follow one of the oldest paths in the region, the historic route between San Jos\u00e9 de Uchupiamonas and Apolo. This unique expedition takes you far off the classic tourist trails deep into the heart of the Amazon and allows you to experience the jungle in a raw and authentic way.<\/p>\n
The planned duration of the tour is up to six days depending on the route and your physical condition. During this time you will stay directly in Madidi in self built camps deep in the jungle. Part of the food will be sourced along the way through gathering, fishing or hunting and prepared together using traditional local methods.<\/p>\n
Together with experienced local guides who have preserved the knowledge of this ancient route over generations, you will hike through dense vegetation, cross rivers and discover a landscape that has remained largely unchanged for centuries.
